East Ayrshire’s Playday 2016 event will once again take place at the Kay Park, Kilmarnock on 3rd August 2016,
Despite the drizzle and a few heavy showers, last around 5,000 people took part. The fun included - canoeing, mud slides, gunge pools, crate climbing, face painting, bouncy castles, den building, hay bales, quad bikes, laser quest, body zorb football, climbing wall, arts & crafts, as well as a plethora of sports activities.
This years Playday is set to be equally as FUN FABULOUS and FREE! Split into Messy Zone, Free Play Zone, Creative Zone, Adventure Zone, Fun Zone, Early Years Zone, Physical Zone and Health Zone. There is something for everyone, and activities take place no matter the weather!!
Playday is the national day for play in the UK, traditionally held on the first Wednesday in August. It is the biggest play sector event in the UK, and possibly Europe!
