High_Vis_Dad_opening.png

This years Annual Circle Lecture ‘Talking Dads’ taking place on 12 October at George Heriot's School, Edinburgh will be a dynamic evening of celebration to recognise the importance of dads.

This year, Richard Jobson, Scottish filmmaker and Circle Patron, will lead Circle’s annual lecture. Richard will share his experiences of, and insights into, growing up in a working class family and environment in Scotland. He will explore some of the challenges experienced by young Scottish men as they face a range of life events and choices, specifically fatherhood.

Richard will be joined at the event by dads who are supported by Circle. The dads will share their own insights into fatherhood, recognising where supports have assisted their progress.

There will also be the opportunity to view Circle's ‘Year of the Dad’ photography exhibition as well as the Sculpture produced at Haven Project's Summer Arts Project - 'High Vis Dads'.
